Ntozake Shange: "Dangling Participles and Shady Syllables"
Saturday, April 4, 2009Ntozake Shange presents a spoken word performance with musical accompaniment by HAMIETT BLUIETT, baritone saxophone, and LONDON BRANCH, piano and trumpet.
The program will be opened by the young musical group JBMG, the grandchildren of Fontella Bass and Lester Bowie.
This program is made possible by funding from the Missouri Arts Council and co-sponsored by Borders Books and The Roberts Mayfair Hotel.
